In 2000, I retired from the Bank of England and moved to Illinois USA. I worked for a small Internet Service Provider (Tigerpaw) as a Business Manager, which is where I met Ross Carrell, my future Websdezined.com partner.

I launched Websdezined in 2001. My first web site was www.barkleyfarms.com, which has now been redesigned by Illiana Technology. By 2005 Ross and I were using the Mambo Content Management System (CMS) and then switched to Joomla! CMS and have never looked back since. In 2005 we had 25 clients. Over the next 4 years this grew to around 75 clients.

In 2009, I returned to the UK and now live in Bromley. I continue to use Joomla! for all my web site design and this has proved to be a wise decision. Joomla! CMS has been an excellent, solid platform for producing exciting and innovative web sites. I am happy to endorse Joomla! as my web site software of choice.

Ross continues to work in the east central Illinois area and founded www.illianatechnology.net.
