My approach to the design process ensures that I am able to fully master your visual language, guaranteeing a successful interaction between you and me.

From my experience, the more involved you are during the development process, the greater the likelihood that the resulting web site will be successful. The following process has been designed to involve you at every stage, from initial planning, through to testing and final deployment. It’s a partnership between your knowledge of your business and my knowledge of how the web works.

  • Smart project definition - right from the outset, objectives are carefully defined.
  • Prototyping - once you have agreed the specification, I will create the initial designs/visuals of your web site. You can expect to see me come back to you with an initial design proof - ready for your input and final pre-production approval - within a short space of time.
  • Creation and Development - when you're happy with what you see, I get technical. I develop your content management system. Beginning with the website structure including components and modules. Your approval is sought as I go along. I will make any amendments required to ensure you are fully happy with the look, feel and design elements used.
  • Final Testing - the website will be fully tested before it goes live. All links and pages will be checked. You will also be able to go through the website and I will make any final alterations. This is also when training will be given to you to learn how to use it.
  • Deployment - the site will be uploaded to your website host and will be accessible via your web address.
  • Review - after a three or six month period, I will meet with you again to assess the performance of your site in terms of meeting the objectives set out at the beginning of this process.

Joomla!'s core functionality includes article management, extendability with custom components and bridges to other popular products like discussion forums, galleries and classified ad systems.
